Stella Maris College first opened its doors to Scouting in 1956, and currently has its Scout Group’s headquarters in the Junior School grounds. Numerous Cubs, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers attend the weekly meetings and many activities that are organised by a team of dedicated and trained leaders.
Meetings are held every Friday, and activities are held regularly throughout the year. These include abseiling, archery, arts, boating, camping, canoeing, climbing, community service, cooking, crafts, crate stacking, cycling, expeditions, first aid, fishing, hiking, high ropes, horse riding, laser tag, mapping, model building, obstacle courses, pioneering, rafting, rowing, scuba diving, shooting, snorkelling, sports, travelling, treasure hunts, windsurfing and much more!
The Scout Group caters for boys and girls aged 7 and above, and takes in new members twice a year. Those interested in joining the Group are asked to fill in and submit the online application form, to register their interest and add themselves to the waiting list.
