The final day of our "SMC Travels Through Time" Summer Camp 2026! 🚀 Here's what the troop did, enjoying their last day at camp!
🍕 Solar Oven Ftiras: The Troop built makeshift ovens out of cardboard, foil, and charcoal to bake pizza ftiras for lunch!
🏊♂️ Afternoon Swim: One last dip in the water to cool off
🔐 Padlock Mystery Challenge: For our final activity, teams hunted down locked boxes across camp and cracked the codes to unlock their final prizes 🏆

DAY 7️⃣ - Summer Camp 2026 ⛺
⚡High energy, Great Memories⚡ The day put our Troop's culinary creativity and teamwork to the test 🔥🧗♀️Here’s how it all went down 👇
🍳The Wooden Spoon Cooking Competition: Groups randomly selected 1 of 6 mystery boxes packed with secret ingredients 📦
3 boxes required the troop to cook their main dishes using traditional mud ovens 🍲 while the other 3 cooked over open wood fires 🪓🔥 After the judging was complete, the Troop kept the energy high with:
🧗♂️ Patrol Obstacle Course: Teams raced through the course together to test their speed and agility 💥
💦 Water Games: A fun, refreshing water session to cool off and wrap up the day!

DAY 6️⃣ - Summer Camp 2026 ⛺
Packed with hands-on projects, outdoor fun, and a major milestone for our entire scout group 🤩
Here’s a look at what our Troop got up to:
🏄♂️ Starting the morning on the water with SUPs and swimming
🍹 Crafting their own refreshing homemade mocktails
🔥 Preparing traditional mud ovens
🧱 Building an obstacle course

We are incredibly proud to share that the Stella Maris College Scout Group was awarded the Chief Commissioner's Coin 2026 by the Chief Commissioner himself! Receiving this honor as a group is a testament to the dedication, hard work, and spirit of all our members and leaders 👏✨

DAY 5️⃣ - Summer Camp 2026 ⛺️
The day brought the rest of our Troop to the campsite! With everyone officially settled in, it was a full day of camp traditions, creative cooking, and outdoor adventure.

⛺️ Pitching tents and setting up their campsites
🎨 A colorful paint fight on the field
🌯 Cooking wraps from scratch, featuring homemade peach chutney
🏊♂️ Cooling off with an afternoon swim
🌙 Wrapping up the evening with a night hike

We welcomed our Troop Advance Party to the campsite! They enjoyed a relaxing day together setting up and winding down before the rest of the Troop section arrives tomorrow.

DAY 2️⃣ & 3️⃣ Summer Camp 2026 ⛺
From medieval battles to futuristic tech, our Pack and Ventures have been on an incredible journey! 🛡️⚡️
DAY 2️⃣
🐺 Pack: Competed in a Royal Tournament 🎯 cooked their own meals 🍳 and hunted for Dino eggs in a trivia quest 🦕 They recovered the Engine & Fuel ⚙️⛽️ and brought the day to a meaningful close with Mass 🙏✨
🧭 Ventures: Beat the heat with Water Games 💦 and a massive Scavenger Hunt 🔍 Before saying their goodbyes to another successful summer camp 👋
DAY 3️⃣
🐺 Pack: Built working LED circuits 💡 to power up the ship and went head-to-head against AI in interactive challenges 🧠 Lastly they located the final missing piece; the Navigator to restore the timeline, and said their camp goodbyes! 🎒👋

DAY 1️⃣ SUMMER CAMP 2026 ⛺️
The time machine is officially active 🚀
This year's theme, "SMC Travels Through Time⏳" We kicked off camp with our Beavers, Pack, and Ventures joining forces by stepping into the time machine together and landing right in the Prehistoric Era 🦕🦴
The day started with an epic joint activity where mixed-section teams tackled:
🍫 Caveman Rocky Road Making
🤠 Wild West Mini-Games
🏺 Ancient Egyptian Escape Room
Later on, each section dived into their own adventures:
🦫 Beavers: Created robot crafts & sealed a time capsule before wrapping up their camp journey 🎨
🐺 Pack: Hit the water for SUP & swimming, then built their ridge tents 🤿🏕️
🧭 Ventures: Got competitive with Archery & Axe Throwing! 🎯🪓 Later going for a late night swim to cool off 🏊♀️
